Problem Bank Resolution Division
(PBRD) is an independent division in Nepal Rastra Bank. PBRD shall work closely
with all BFIs supervision Departments and in normal times receives all related
information through these supervision departments. If BFIs have failed to resolve
the issues through private efforts and failed to recapitalize or merge and has
entered and progressed through different steps, PBRD should be prepared to take
action to resolve the BFIs in a timely manner. PBRD has prepared summery
financial highlights of problematic Bank and financial institutions for the
quarter ended Asar, 2073.
